Buried into anonymity by the fourth quarter’s record number of album releases, Exotic Recordings’ diverse roster was hungry for at least some harsh words. Tired of suffering a futile effort to force the mainstream media to take heed, the Bridgeport, CT-based indie label hired critics of its own to do the job.
