The direct descendent of golden age hip hop like Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul, C Boogie brings a dynamic stage energy and unexpected lyrical flow to every stage he touches. Together with DJ/MC Segue, the group's Sure Shot collaboration is flavored with hip hop, neo soul, latin rhythms, jazz and house: what the group calls "left field rhythms." Drawing from a distinctive portrait of musicians, vocalists, and producers from diverse backgrounds, C Boogie is currently recording his debut album, "The Benefactor" due out this fall.
